Fill-A-Bag, Feed-A-Family

How does it work? Your neighbors commit to giving a small amount of food every two months, which will provide a steady supply of non-expired, nutritious food to serve those in need. We are off to a running start in Phoenix, Tempe, Buckeye, Mesa, and Fountain Hills, where a percentage of bags collected will go directly to Christ-centered food pantries in the areas of participating fellowships in this metro-wide program.  We are hoping to stir the body of Christ in unity to display the love of Jesus to our city.  If you are interested in volunteering or getting more information about Fill-A-Bag, Feed-A-Family, click here to see the info page or for more information contact Oscar Barajas at 602-346-3383 or at chammann@phoenixrescuemission.org.

Hope Totes Hygiene Kits

As part of the Hope Coach ministry, we provide Hope Totes in gallon-sized re-sealable bags. For instructions on making Hope Totes, click here.

Hygiene Kits  and Fill-A-Bag drops offs are accepted at our warehouse from 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday at 1468 N. 26th Avenue in Phoenix.

Changing Lives Center

Tutors

We are so excited that so many of our clients are working towards completing their GED or high school diplomas. These accomplishments open the door to job opportunities that would not otherwise be possible. Will you help them succeed? We need tutors of all sorts, and offer flexible hours and scheduling.

Childcare Providers - Childcare Assistants **We need your help**

Most of the women that enter our Transformation Program at the Changing Lives Center are mothers, and have their children with them when they arrive on our campus. They are hoping to find safe, stable, and loving place for themselves and their children. Without the help of childcare volunteers our capacity is limited, as we simply cannot serve all the children and mothers that rely on our Childcare Center that serves babies and children up to five years of age. Will you help by taking one shift, 10-2pm, one day per week, every other week, or one day each month? A level-One Fingerprint card and TB test are required.

BRIDGE Teachers - Women

We have a wonderful opportunity to go into the jails and provide a class on transitioning back to the outside world for inmates. Because of a connection with one of our teachers, many will find their way to hope and transformation at the Changing Lives Center. We need women who can teach a set curriculum with a heart to reach these forgotten women looking to change their lives.

Boutique Assistants

If shopping, organizing and helping others is your thing ... we have a spot for you. We are looking for a few ladies to help our client boutique at the Changing Lives Center, where the women can shop and trade for themselves and their children. 1-2 days per week for 3-4 hours.
