Planned Giving

A will can remind your loved ones of your basic beliefs and commitments. A will can ensure that your desires are fulfilled. A will can provide peace of mind.

Experts say two out of three Americans do not have a will. While it is impossible to really know what will happen in the future, we can have security about achieving out family goals by making a plan. It is one way we create a secure future for our loved ones and have the confidence that our property will pass to its intended beneficiaries.

In considering your plans, you may be thinking about your family being prepared, how to best save on estate taxes and perhaps how you might benefit one or more charitable organizations. A charitable bequest is one of the easiest gifts to make, permitting you to leave a lasting legacy, while providing valuable tax savings.

A bequest (will) can include any dollar amount, gift-specific property or a percentage of your estate. If you wish to make a gift of your IRA or 401 (k) plan, this can generally be accomplished by filling out a beneficiary designation form provided by your plan administrator. If you have listed the Phoenix Rescue Mission as a beneficiary, please let us know. We would love to include you into our formal estate-giving society – Circle of Grace.

If you would like more information or assistance with making a planned gift to assist with our work at Phoenix Rescue Mission, please contact Sue Gaub, Senior Director of Philanthropy at 602-346-3334 or email  sgaub@phoenixrescuemission.org. Thank you for your faithful support and may God Bless You!
