Serve Neighbors Across the Valley

Use your time and talent to care for people in need

Every day, our volunteers join us in the life-saving work we do. Through building relationships, and providing practical support, the hope you provide impacts both lives and entire communities today and into the future.

Last year, our volunteers showed up for our neighbors in remarkable ways:

The first step is to go to prm.volunteerhub.com and create an account. You may then sign-up for available opportunities.

All minors, under the age of 18, must have a Youth Volunteer Authorization and Liability Release completed and be accompanied by an adult. The minimum age requirement for service at Hope For Hunger Food Bank is 12 years of age and for any type of food service children must be 14 years of age. Parents may bring children of any age to our Community Engagement events and are fully responsible for their children’s participation and attendance. Please make sure to create an account for each minor that is volunteering at prm.volunteerhub.com

Youth needing to verify their hours for school volunteer service should create their own accounts in prm.volunteerhub.com. After serving, go to MY ACCOUNT, MY HOURS to see and print your volunteer hours.

While we have the most need for volunteers at Hope for Hunger Food Bank and mobile pantries, we have volunteer opportunities at our recovery campuses as well.

There are a number of group activities listed in prm.volunteerhub.com. After reviewing possible opportunities please contact Volunteer Engagement, volunteer@phxmission.org, (602) 233-3000 to reserve the number of needed slots for your group or to explore other opportunities that may not be listed.

We require all volunteers (including minors) to create an account in prm.volunteerhub.com and schedule in advance. This allows us to plan for and staff our events appropriately.

Having a criminal history does not necessarily prevent you from being able to serve. Please indicate this when you create your account in prm.volunteerhub.com so that we can reach out to you to discuss your service further.

Please dress appropriately for the conditions and performance of your volunteer duties. Volunteers should be in modest attire, with NO tank tops/spaghetti straps. For safety reasons, closed toed shoes should be warn for all food service, food bank and community engagement activities. PRM reserves the right to ask volunteers to change or leave the property if clothing is inappropriate.

Phoenix Rescue Mission permits court ordered community service hours on a case-by-case basis determined through an approval process. We ask that you clarify this when creating an online volunteer profile. Opportunities are limited to serving at Hope for Hunger Food Bank located in Glendale.
