The  Arizona Office of Tourism is working with the Arizona Commerce Authority and Office of Economic Opportunity and several companies to connect our displaced hospitality workforce with industries that are urgently hiring.

They've created the Arizona Hospitality Workforce Connection, which is available in both English and Spanish.

Employers are hiring and need skilled workers and are posting job opportunities at no cost. New opportunities are posted every day as they confirm the need directly with the employers.

The skills of hospitality industry workers’ translate easily to several types of jobs in other industries, such as:

  • Hotel culinary staff can use their experience as butchers, produce managers and bakers.
  • Housekeeping staff are needed to clean grocery stores and hospitals.
  • General labor is needed at grocery stores to unload delivery trucks and restock store shelves.
