Changing Lives Center – Continued

The goal of the Changing Lives Center is to provide a comprehensive approach to breaking the cycle of addiction, abuse, trauma and homelessness for women with children. The Center closes the gap in services by providing a nurturing sanctuary to support the health, safety, sobriety and emotional well-being of homeless women with addictions and their children. This new Center and its comprehensive services will provide the proper physical, spiritual and emotional trauma interventions necessary to develop and sustain a healthy, violence and drug-free, independent lifestyle.

Children’s Developmental Enrichment Center

The Children’s Center offers the most innocent victims of homelessness a second chance at life. Complete nursery and preschool programs offer a safe, nurturing environment including regular health assessments. The after-school Activity Rooms allow older children to participate in enrichment programs that build healthy life skills and patterns. And the playground and gardens allow imagination to come to life as children heal from the hurts of the past and embrace the hope of tomorrow.

Chapel

The Changing Lives Center Chapel is the heart of our campus. Worship services, led by local churches and mission staff, will equip women and their children to encounter the love of God. Practical Bible studies will prepare them to experience the presence of God in every area of life.

Residential Units — Cottages of Hope

Sixty-six  furnished apartments, called Cottages of Hope, reside in four buildings on the 3.2 acre campus. Each Cottage becomes a real home, allowing mothers and children to rebuild their lives as a family on a firm foundation. Here, families build a nurturing environment that allows healing and hope to transform the hurts of the past into the success of the future.
