After 12 years of leading this organization, I will be turning over the leadership to a wonderful Christian man, Jay A. Cory. This September, I am preparing to say farewell.
It’s been such a privilege to shepherd this work with the other people God has sent—such an honor to share a servant’s
role as we cared for the least, lost and hopeless lives He brought to our doors daily. I marvel to think of the millions
of meals that have been served, as well as the thousands of shelter bed nights for homeless men. How thankful we are for the men who now lead wholesome and fruitful lives because of the saving grace of Jesus.
I will still be able to serve the Lord and this Mission family I have grown to love so much, as I continue part-time in the New Year to aid in transition and spend time with our donor family.
I look forward to introducing you to our incoming president, Jay Cory, in the months ahead. Thanks
for sharing this adventure with me and the wonderful Mission family.
Peace and Joy,
Jerry Sandvig
President Emeritus
