Changing Lives Center Dedication
The ribbon was cut on May 11, 2011, marking the official dedication of the Changing Lives Center for women and children. The Phoenix Rescue Mission cast the vision eight years ago after staff members shared their concerns about watching women and their children leave our dining hall and head back out on to the streets of Phoenix. As more was learned about the situation, it became clear that there was a great need for a recovery center for homeless women with children. Through prayer and hard work, the Changing Lives Center will open its doors to homeless women with children on July 1, 2011.
President’s Prayer Breakfast
Christians from all demoninations blessed each building in prayer before the opening of the Changing Lives Center for women and children. These still photos illustrate the power of prayer and the love the community has for the women and children who arrive on campus July 2011.
