Keep your New Year’s resolution and raise funds to furnish a Cottage of Hope at the Phoenix Rescue Mission’s Changing Lives Center. The goal is to raise $5,000 and collectively walk 7,748 mile — the distance from Scottsdale to Jerusalem. Start counting your miles January 8th. If you don’t walk, run, swim or bike, but go to the gym, you can count 20 minutes of excercise as one mile.
